 Eastsiders! Welcome to the State of the Reunion message.

I hope everyone had a happy & healthy 2023!

The planning committee for the 2024 East Side Flyers Annual Reunion  has met once this year. Our emphasis this year is to highlight classes that are celebrating their 55th or 60th graduation anniversary plus a 75th birthday celebration for many.

Everyone who attended East Side is invited and welcome.

Last year, we had East Side folks attend from 1959 to 1982 classes. Attendance was about 140 people, in 2022 we had about 120….we hope to increase attendance each year as word about this unique reunion spreads.

This year, 2024, the 1969 class will be celebrating their 55th. Please contact Timothy P. Runnalls via messenger or RunnallsTim@yahoo.com for info or to become involved with planning your celebration.

Remember, the East Side Flyers Annual Reunion  will always be the 3rd Saturday in August. So August 17, 2024 from 1 to 6 PM.  We have talked with classmates and we are planning a few changes to our program including 2 large video screens to feature past reunion photos and videos.

Our mission is to keep the annual reunion simple, inexpensive, and I think our best feature is the inclusion of so many class years. Most of us had friends in other classes. This is unique, please plan to join us.

Lastly, as everything, inflation affects us too. The good thing is that several classmates are members of the VFW so we get a discount but the VENUE charge is still our biggest expense.  With the help of the 50/50 raffle we have almost broken even. Our first year we lost money so the increase from $5 to $10 per person will help this volunteer group survive.
